Die fotografische Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit der Austauschbarkeit und Banalität alltäglicher Ort im Stadtraum. Die Ambivalenz, begründet durch gleiche Materialien und kollektive Stilistik, reduziert die Prägnanz und Faszination für die sich wiederholenden Strukturen. Die Bilder wirken dadurch zugleich bekannt als auch unbekannt und sind durch indifferente Assoziationen schwer zu verorten. Gradlinige, langweilig wirkende Betonstrukturen stehen dabei im Kontrast zur Natur, die nur noch in zaghaften, fast schon filigranen, Schemen vorzufinden ist und durch Licht und Schatten für ein Aufbrechen der künstlichen Komplexe sorgt.

The photographic work deals with the interchangeability and banality of everyday places in urban space. The ambivalence, based on the same materials and collective stylistics, reduces the conciseness and fascination for the repeating structures. The images appear both familiar and unknown at the same time and are difficult to locate due to indifferent associations. Straight-lined, boring-looking concrete structures stand in contrast to nature, which can only be found in tentative, almost delicate schemes and uses light and shadow to break up the artificial complexes.
